On the first day of North One, the day was occupied with gathering an audience for the evening shoot at 'The Tin Arts and Music, Coventry'. I utilised my links with Coventry University students and sent social media messages/emails out to an array of people.
We later arrived at the venue, where we set up and rehearsed in preparation for a 6pm start. I dealt with the paperwork and ensured everyone understood the shooting schedule.
After a few hours of filming and reshooting, the cast left the location and I assisted the crew in packing away all of the equipment.
On my second and third day at North One, I spent the majority of the day completing research tasks in the production office. I was tasked to research the following for future Gadget Show programmes: tech for a toddler; tech to protect your bike; tech for the Christmas special. At the latter end of day three, I was lucky enough to attend a production meeting regarding the upcoming Christmas special episodes.

On my fourth day, I continued my research tasks. Following Wednesday's Christmas special meeting, I spent my time searching for Christmas jumpers suitable for the presenters to wear in the Christmas episode. I also spent my time with the post production team to observe the Gadget Show edit. Watching this process gave me a insight into how basic editing for tv works whilst allowing me to understand how much attention to detail is needed to successfully fulfil this role.
On my final day, I continued researching for the 'Christmas Special', finding gadgets that could be used throughout the episode.
